The School of Mediumship · Bengaluru, India
A Dedicated School for the Study and Practice of Mediumship
Rooted in tradition. Developed through practice. Guided by evidence and care.
At The School of Mediumship, we teach evidential mediumship as a discipline in its own right. Through small-group residential training in Bengaluru, students learn to develop recognisable evidence, practise with thoughtful supervision and approach every sitting with honesty, sensitivity and care.

- Taught in person
- Beginners welcome
- Students from India and abroad

Current residential programme
Inaugural cohort
Begin with Evidential Mediumship Level 1 Six days of concentrated, in-person learning
Our first programme gives students the opportunity to establish their foundations: preparation, psychic and mediumistic awareness, connected evidence, ethical communication, partner sittings and thoughtful feedback. Dr. Rashhi Sharma and Prabhat Sharma both teach throughout, with close observation in a small group.
The programme welcomes adult beginners as well as students with some previous experience. Accommodation and meals are part of the residential arrangement and are charged separately from tuition. Full fees, room options, terms and admission requirements are on the Level 1 page.

The People Behind the Teaching Practising mediums who studied in person before they taught
A student should know who will teach them, what those teachers have studied, and how the teaching will take place.

Dr. Rashhi Sharma, PhD
Founder & Lead Trainer
Dr. Rashhi leads the School's educational direction. Her mediumship study began with Suzanne Giesemann in the United States and continued in person at Arthur Findlay College and The College of Psychic Studies in the United Kingdom. She chose to practise for years before teaching. Her long-standing work in hypnosis, regression and consciousness education informs how she teaches; her PhD is in Environmental Sciences.

Prabhat Sharma
Trainer
Prabhat's connection with spirit began in early childhood, and he was given space to explore it in his own time. He has since studied mediumship at Arthur Findlay College and The College of Psychic Studies, and brings five years of practice and experience co-teaching Soul Consciousness Lab® programmes. He teaches alongside Dr. Rashhi as full co-faculty, co-leading practical development, student observation and feedback.
Their studies at these colleges do not imply that the colleges endorse, accredit or certify the School.
Meet our facultyOur purpose
Why We Founded a School Devoted to Mediumship
A meaningful experience deserves an honest method, and the person receiving it deserves respect.
Through years of work at Soul Consciousness Lab®, we heard from people who had sought mediumship readings but did not know what they could reasonably expect. Some spoke of disappointment, unclear methods or information they could not recognise. Many had never heard of evidential mediumship or the wider forms of mediumship.
Those experiences reinforced a conviction already close to Dr. Rashhi's heart: mediumship deserves to be explained, studied and practised with care. The School was created to make structured learning available in India, without turning the subject into a mystery reserved for a few.

Mediumship is our only subject. Every programme, guide and teacher here is focused on it.
In person
Practice is taught face to face, where a teacher can observe, guide and respond in the moment.
Small and supervised
Groups are limited to twelve students, so partner work is watched and feedback is personal.
Honest
We do not promise spirit communication, abilities or professional status. We teach the discipline and let the work speak for itself.
Our teaching approach
Learning Happens in the Room Concepts can be read; practice needs a teacher present
Mediumship cannot be learned responsibly by vocabulary alone. Students need to describe what they perceive, hear genuine responses, and learn from what is and is not recognised, with someone experienced close enough to help.
-
A teacher who can see the work
In a room, a teacher notices what a screen hides: hesitation, overreach, a gap filled with guesswork. Feedback arrives while the moment is still fresh.
-
Safe, supervised practice
Partner sittings carry real emotion, sometimes grief. In person, a teacher can slow an exercise, support a student and keep the work within its limits.
-
Time to settle
A residential programme removes the pull of work and home. Days of focused practice, reflection and rest let learning deepen in a way short sessions cannot.
Completing a course marks learning requirements met, not automatic readiness for professional practice.

A Foundation, with Space to Develop
The School begins with evidential foundations, because the habits they build sit under every other form: clear perception, careful description and honesty about what is and is not recognised.

Our institutional home
Established by Soul Consciousness Lab®
The School of Mediumship was established within Soul Consciousness Lab®, a Bengaluru training institution founded by Dr. Rashhi Sharma and teaching since 2011. SCL's experience in residential teaching, programme administration and student support gives the School an established foundation.
The distinction is deliberate. SCL continues to offer its broader consciousness and practitioner programmes. The School is dedicated to mediumship education, with its own curriculum, faculty responsibilities, learning pathways and ethical expectations.

Standards That Protect the Work and the People Involved
The possibility of a meaningful communication makes care for the sitter essential. We teach consent, confidentiality, respect for bereavement, non-leading communication, and the responsibility to acknowledge what is not known.
No named communicator or specific outcome can be promised. A Certificate of Completion records defined training requirements met; it is not a professional licence, proof of mediumistic ability, or endorsement by the colleges where our faculty studied.
Our commitments to you
What every student can expect
- Clear information on dates, costs, accommodation and terms before any payment
- Supervised, paced practice; what is shared in class stays in class
- Training is educational, not healthcare or therapy
- Concerns go to our Director, Mr. Arrjun Sharma, with a reply within 72 hours
